Ocean Master has made a number of significant improvements to its already popular titanium knife. Using a titanium beta alloy, this blade is extremely light, durable, and sharp. With stainless steel, there is always a compromise between durability and corrosion resistance. The sharper the blade, the more vulnerable the stainless steel is to corrosion. With titanium, this is not an issue. The metal is 100 percent corrosion proof. And the beta alloy is especially tough, holding an edge very well.
A new advanced locking system has been added to the knife's sheath. The latch release (patent pending) prevents your knife from accidentally falling out. Simple one-finger operation allows removal of the knife quickly and easily. The knife is removed with a simple motion of the index finger. The release is easy to feel and operate even through gloves, yet the knife is completely secure in its sheath. Holes in the sheath drain away excess water.
Another improvement to the Ocean Master knife system is the optional integrated knife wrap (patent pending). The wrap now puts soft, sturdy neoprene between you and the knife sheath. Velcro adjusts the wrap to your leg and is more comfortable than ordinary rubber straps. Exclusively for use with Ocean Master knives and their sheaths, the integrated design makes a more stable base for the knife assembly. The knife will no longer slip or rotate around the leg. Removal and replacement of the knife is also easier.
The titanium knives come in a blunt or sharp point version. Stainless steel is available in the same versions, plus a single-edge model. Each knife comes with a slip-proof handle with 3-D accents, a lanyard hole, and hammer butts.

The new Ti Pro Hood from Seasoft puts maximum warmth where it is most needed, and maximum flexibility where it is most needed to create a hood that has the maximum of comfort. The design concept is simple. Around the cranium flexibility is less important but warmth is paramount. This hood puts the thickest material here for maximum thermal protection. The way the hood is cut helps to retain the head shape better, again for better comfort, fit and warmth.
Around the neck and chin, flexibility is important. A thinner, softer material is used that moves easily as the head is turned and jaw moved. Jaw fatigue is often not a result of an improper fitting mouthpiece but rather an ill-fitting or stiff hood. The Ti Pro hood is designed to eliminate stiff jaws and necks. Around the face a flexible "skin-in" material is used to seal in warmth. Finally, an extra large skirt extends to the top of the chest and middle back. The skirt is finished off with nylon edging for comfort. Seams are double sewn and double tacked for durability.
