Catalina Safari Dive and Hike Photo Contest - November 19-21
Catalina Safari Dive and Hike Photo Contest will benefit the nonprofit Catalina Mooring Project which plans to install and maintain mooring buoys over sensitive marine habitats. Mooring buoys placed strategically around Catalina will protect its fragile underwater marine environment by keeping destructive boat anchors off the bottom.
There are over $10,000 in prizes, an evening social and more. Contestant's are separated into four divisions based on experience (including a "point & shoot" division with land camera provided) and several categories. This is both a land and underwater photo contest.
