TUSA SCA-322 Console
The new SCA-322 from TUSA is a compact 3 gauge console that includes the compact and easy to use Nitrox IQ-600 dive computer, a high pressure gauge and a back-mounted compass. Luminescent face is easy to read in the dark or low visibility conditions (compass and pressure gauge).

The computer with console gauge encased in a compact durable rubber case. The Dive Computer (IQ-600), with its user friendly design, automatically goes on when you enter the water. There is no need for special operations while you are in the water. You get the information you need when you need it with an automatically switching display.

With the IQ-600 Nitrox dive computer, oxygen density can be set in one percent increments to a maximum of 50 percent and can be adjusted so that when you dive twice, one tank can be used for normal air and the other can be used for Nitrox mix on the second dive. It is designed for safety with an automatic function that turns the switch on as soon as you enter the water, as well as automatically detecting the air pressure for advanced settings, specific to the diving location. Battery replacement can be done by the user.

Buddyboat Backpack Harness
Last year, Divine Design Aquatics, Inc. introduced their Buddyboat prototype to California divers at SCUBA Show 2000. Due to the favorable response, manufacturing and production have now begun on the Buddyboat and new accessory backpack harness. The backpack harness will allows the lightweight Buddyboat to be carried in an easy way for transport to the dive site while keeping hands free.

The Buddyboat is a small, lightweight personal watercraft designed for skin and scuba diving. It helps the diver to conserve precious energy and avoid fatigue by enabling him to skim across the water with maximum efficiency on his way to the dive site. The Buddyboat contributes to the diver’s safety and comfort by providing a stable dive platform that allows the diver to rest and warm up from the chilly water between dives. It also helps protect the diver from boating traffic by marking the dive site with a highly visible dive flag mounted on the built in dive flag holder. The Buddyboat is manufactured from lightweight, durable polyethylene plastic, making it impervious to rocks and sand. The combination hull/pontoon design, combined with a low center of gravity, gives it excellent stability and a shallow draft. This design also allows easy entry and exit in water of any depth. The user has the option of setting comfortably facing rearward or laying in a prone position using his fins for propulsion.

A watertight hatch on the bow provides access to a large storage area, and there are ample tie-downs for dive gear and personal accessories. A backpack harness is available for transporting the Buddyboat and dive gear to the water.
