Cressi-sub Airtech Regulator
The Airtech is the brand new Cressi regulator, completely developed by the technical department of Cressi-sub and represents a return to the first stage diaphragm design after a few years’ absence from this sector. Airtech comes in two versions: with the brand new diaphragm 1st stage, or with the latest version Cressi balanced piston 1st stage. The 2nd stage is identical and original in both cases. The Airtech regulator encompasses all the most important technological innovations available on the market and sits at the top of its category in terms of performance, robustness, manufacturing simplicity, ease of maintenance, functioning in freezing water. Here are just some of its exceptional technical features: hyper-balanced diaphragm first stage (performance improves as the pressure in the cylinder is reduced); innovative air filtering system (only on line regulator to use a cone shaped sintered filter); antifreeze kit (accessory) that completely separates the external parts from contact with water; 2nd stage comes with cap with titanium inserts; full regulation both of the Venturi effect and the inhalation effort; sealed adjusting system of inhalation effort (exclusive to Cressi), adjustable orifice; pneumatically balanced poppet; exhaust valve with side covers to prevent water seepage in the event of side current or sudden movements.
