TUSA
Platina Snorkel
The new TUSA Platina snorkel maintains the ideal angle for snorkeling. This is the world's first three-dimensional pipe curve. Using the average posture when swimming on the surface as a basis, it maintains the ideal angle for effective breathing. To ensure that the pipe top is close to the top of the head, it is curved along the head section and has an incline at the back. This creates a greater feeling of unity between the snorkel and the head to further reduce water resistance.
The oval shape of the tube also reduces water resistance. Improved in the pipe, it provides direction to water blown upward to ensure a clear snorkel while minimizing water resistance during snorkeling. The pipe interior, with its bellows section, has a new flush surface to further smooth the air flow.
The snorkel also uses an improved version of the popular Hyperdry System. The Hyperdry System gain notoriety as effective in keeping water out of the breathing tubes of TUSA snorkels. The three blade current rectifying plate is a new function offering a further improvement of that system. It rectifies the flow of the water entering the system while effectively guiding it to the escape pipe for ejection. It also prevents water spray when clearing the snorkel and controls water return and shaking of the pipe.
Working with the snorkel top in keeping water out of the snorkel is a large drain chamber at the bottom of the tube. Any water entering the lower portion of the snorkel is drained out an extra-large purge valve at the bottom of the chamber.
The lower portion of the snorkel is crystal silicone. The soft but firm material is ideal for comfort in the mouthpiece. The flexible joint contours to the face for less strain on the jaw, but also falls clear when using scuba.
Another improvement is the one-touch adapter. It allows easy mask attachment/removal and position adjustment using two pillars which create a difference in high and low position. This lets you accurately adjust the strap to prevent the pipe from shaking or falling forward. The new design maintains the ideal angle.
The new TUSA Platina snorkel is available in nine color including white and TUSA's unique Turtle Green. The colors match TUSA's entire line, which includes masks, fins, regulators, BCs, bags and more. Q-Strap
WrapOcean Master has added yet another unique feature to its popular line of Equalizer dive masks: the Q-Strap Wrap. The patented Q-Strap makes adjustment instantaneous, even, and comfortable. No other mask has a strap adjustment system like it. The soft neoprene wrap makes the Q-strap even more comfortable and effective.
The soft neoprene helps prevent tangling. A non-skid back keeps the mask strap secure against the back of the head, whether used with or without a hood.
The Equalizer mask was the recent recipient of the prestigious Best Diving Product for the 1998 Antibes-France World Underwater Film Festival. It is available in five different styles, with or without the Ocean Master patented purge system, and in nine colors. The Wrap is now standard on all Equalizer masks. It is also available separately for adding to older model Equalizer masks.

The GSE Flexible Hyperbaric Chamber is a variable volume Deck Compression Chamber with a flexible pressure hull (GSE patent) made of a composite fabric structure, which allows it to be collapsed into one or two packages for transport. The system is designed and manufactured by a team of experienced divers for the use by divers. It is conceived for the purpose of omitted decompression and emergency recompression. It is designed to be carried as safety equipment by a small group or lone pair of sport divers.
The light weight and small dimensions of the packed 24 inch unit allows it to be shipped as unaccompanied luggage on any air or surface transportation service. When inflated, the size of the unit is still small enough to be conveniently utilized aboard small pleasure craft. It can even be used for air evacuation aboard a helicopter.
A certified pressure of up to five (5) bars assures the capability of a emergency decompression down to the maximum relief depth contemplated by the U.S. Navy's decompression tables. Such a decompression could be accomplished with as little as a single set of standard twin scuba tanks.
The unit comes in its flexible container, ready for use by the addition of a compressed air source. Larger size units are available. Options for all units include a second hatch in the opposite end of the chamber, a lock for entrance and exit of medical personnel, and a food lock in the main hatch for transfer under pressure of food, hot drinks and medication.
