Bonica Multi Snapper Camera

Bonica has announced the launch of the Multi Snapper, its new state-of-the-art underwater camera extending the Snapper line of quality all weather cameras to new depths. The Multi Snapper answers the need of all photographers, underwater or otherwise, for a system that assures a fail safe method that guarantees the camera is fully protected from the outside environment - and that includes underwater depths as deep as 165 feet.

The Multi Snapper introduces an unusual, but simple and effective gizmo called the GOALI. The GOALI, along with its accompanying vacuum pump, sucks all the air out of the camera housing blowing up a tiny balloon in the process. The balloon is encapsulated in the GOALI main unit, which is integrated into the camera housing. (GOALI is an acronym for Ground Operated Advance Leakage System). If the balloon remains inflated, no water can leak into the system. Furthermore, the seal is protected with a silicone ring that requires no maintenance other than the occasional wipe with a clean cloth.

The Multi Snapper offers a range of distance settings from infinity right down to a macro of five inches. A three-position range finder with LED indicator lights clearly shows exactly what your focal length is. Divers can now shoot those close-ups without changing lens and, at the same time, dispense with expensive add-ons.

The Multi Snapper camera comes equipped with glass lens and this includes the housing lens. The camera is fully removable from the housing. This allows use of the system as an underwater, all-weather camera or for land use in good weather.
