Legends of the Blue Video
Legends of the Blue is the first of a series of free-diving and spearfishing videos produced by Legendary Media Productions of Hawaii. Shot entirely on location on the Kona side of the big Island of Hawaii, the video follows Hawaiian legend Bruce Ayau as he demonstrates his award winning free-diving and spearfishing skills. Other spearfishermen appearing in this video include Brian Bradley and Jake Wong. Legends of the Blue is an informative video for people of all ages and skill levels who are interested in improving their free-diving and spearfishing techniques.
Legends of the Blue conveys the spearfishermens respect for the ocean and the fish they hunt. Each Hawaiian species of fish that is shown is displayed with its correct Hawaiian name, along with information on its habitat and habits. Included in this video is footage of dorado, sharks, octopus, jacks, morays, barracuda, snapper, turtles, manta rays, dolphins, and scores of reef fish.
Legends of the Blue is written, produced, filmed, and narrated by Rob White of Tribin/Legendary Media Productions.
