South Africa Sardine Run Dive Expeditions Offered
People in the US have never seen anything like this, says Nic de Gersigny, owner and operator of SEAL Expeditions with his pleasing native South African accent. Its really going to blow their minds.
Every winter, millions of sardines follow the cold winter currents moving north along the South African coast, toward the warm Indian Ocean, bringing with them thousands of predators: dolphins, sharks, whales, seals and marine birds.
SEAL Expeditions follow this feeding frenzy, and in turn, divers get a front row seat to what, Gersigny claims, is truly an unparalleled experience. Gersigny adds, This is the Mount Everest of adventure diving.
Gersigny is, to say the least, an enthusiast of his products. Since 2001 he has lead travel groups on his unique South African expeditions photo safaris in the bush and cage-diving with Great White Sharks to name a few.
The Sardine Run is an experience so unique that David Doubilet, famed underwater photographer for National Geographic, has called it most exciting dive in the world.
Limited openings are still available for the 2005 Sardine Run this June. For additional information, contact Scuba Travel Ventures be e-mail stvdive@ix.netcom.com or visit the Scuba Travel Ventures exhibit at SCUBA Show 2005, May 21-22 at the Long Beach Convention Center (www.saintbrendan.com).
