Bonaire Fee Changing
STINAPA Bonaire, the non-governmental, not-for-profit organization that oversees the Bonaire National Marine Park (BNMP) and Washington-Slagbaai National Park has announced a change in National Park fees. Scuba divers entering the BNMP will pay a fee of $25 per year. Divers will continue to receive the BNMP Tag to wear on their equipment. For information log on to www.stinapa.org.

Hurricane Damage Light to Cayman Reefs
Recent observations indicate that Grand Cayman’s coral reefs suffered no irreparable, detrimental effects from Hurricane Ivan. Photo documentation of commonly dived reefs, conducted by Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Ocean Futures Society (OFS), was commissioned by The Ritz-Carlton Resort, Grand Cayman. Both hard and soft corals showed little damage.


Turks and Caicos Islands Photo Competition
The Turks and Caicos Islands Tourist Board is sponsoring an underwater photographic competition June 1 through August 31, 2005.
