Bonaire Flight Schedule Changes
Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) and the government have announced that after negotiations with American Eagle, effective July 2 through September 5, 2005 the airline will offer daily flights from San Juan, Puerto Rico to Bonaire. From September 6, 2005 to May 30, 2006, American Eagle will operate five round-trip flights per week to/from Bonaire. During this time period the southbound flight to Bonaire will operate on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, while the northbound flight to San Juan will operate on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

American Eagle announced this new flight schedule as Air Jamaica revealed its plan to reduce and suspend service to Bonaire. Beginning June 27, 2005 Air Jamaica’s Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday flights to/from Bonaire will no longer operate. The Saturday flight to/from Bonaire will continue to operate until August 28, 2005, at which time Air Jamaica will no longer offer service to Bonaire.

New Web Site Boon for Travel Planning Divers
Have you ever been researching a dive trip and wanted to know the specific water temperature on the surface or at depth, water clarity, and chance of rain for a specific month and location? Check out www.bigblueplanet.com, the latest in detailed information for the diver to not only plan what to bring in thermal protection but also what to expect in terms of political hazards, what other divers thought of that location, and non-diving activities. Grand Cayman Marriott Reopens
After nearly nine months of being closed to international visitors due to hurricane damage, the Marriott Beach Resort officially opened its doors on June 1 with two floors of rooms now available for tourists.

Mrs. Shannah Milstead, Director of Marketing for Marriott stated, “This opening is the first stage of a massive $15 million renovation, upgrading all aspects of the resort from the physical to our quality customer service."
