Munching and Mating in the Macrocystis
Munching and Mating in the Macrocystis by Dr. Bill Bushing is a 60-minute DVD video that focuses on the interesting behavior that can be observed in common kelp forest fish and invertebrate species when divers slow down and really take a good look. This DVD looks closely on feeding, defense, cleaning, and mating. It features unique footage of invertebrates of octopus, sheep crabs and lobster, as well as fishes including garibaldi, giant kelpfish and black sea bass. Although a research biologist, Dr. Bushing’s presentation in this video is non-technical with his typical good sense of humor.
